F-35 Fly-By to Honor Front-Line Workers Begins in Rutland

Front-line workers across Vermont were honored with an F-35 salute on Friday.

A formation of fighter jets from the Vermont Air Guard’s 158th Fighter Wing criss-crossed the state yesterday afternoon, passing over 16 hospitals. Their day started outside the Rutland Regional Medical Center, where people gathered to watch the fly-by.

Friday’s salute follows similar ones done by other military units, including the Navy Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds.
